The 2nd WHO Interregional Training Workshop on Ensuring the Quality and Safety of Traditional Complementary and Integrative Medicine Practices and Practitioners took place.
The 2nd WHO Interregional Training Workshop on Ensuring the Quality and Safety of Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine Practices and Practitioners was held in the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China from November 27 to 29, 2024.
The workshop was attended by WHO Secretary-General, Dr. Kim Sungchol, Head of the Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine Unit, WHO Advisors Dr. Neil Gowe, Prof. Claire Johnson, and representing our country, Dr. Esra KARABAL ARDA, Director of the Department of Traditional, Complementary, and Functional Medicine Practices at the General Directorate of Health Services of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.
The program included work aimed at ensuring the quality and safety of traditional and complementary medicine application policies and regulations.
